As the Canadian agency Head, EVP, and Publisher of Air Canada enRoute media, Christal spearheaded a the groundbreaking project, leading teams across strategy, editorial, production, sales, and account management. The enRoute team reimagined what an inflight publication can be, evolving it into a hub for new ideas and voices. This redesign was not just about aesthetic changes but about creating a vibrant community that lives in both print and online formats.

Christal’s leadership of presenting the project vision to the Air Canada client and overseeing the various creative teams brought a host of inspiring changes: fresh contributors, new sections, bold typefaces, a redesigned grid, rich paper stock, and more photography than ever before. With typography & design inspired by aviation and a new minimalist / visually conscious artistic direction, the reimagining of the brand across print and digital makes readers feel they are engaging with something truly special.
